Stage Manager
DESCRIPTION: The stage manager acts as the main source of information; connecting all the components necessary to create a production. The SM runs auditions, rehearsals, deals with actor conflicts, works in partnership with the director, and communicates all issues or changes that occur during the rehearsal process to designers and other production staff. The SM needs to know everything about the production and has an enormous responsibility. Once the show opens it is in the hands of the Stage Manager.
